1000 days without LTI

On January 20th 2012 we celebrated 1000 days without a Lost-Time Incident (LTI) at Dhirubhai-1.
This is a significant milestone that has been achieved because of the commitment and dedication from the FPSO crew onboard and from the onshore support team. Approximately 850 000 manhours has been spent at Dhirubhai-1 through this 1000 days by regular crews, contractors and suppliers

1st quarter 2012 with 100% uptime

As from Final Acceptance Certificate formal signing by both parties on 1st July 2009, Dhirubhai-1 has been producing at field capacity. The FPSO is currently producing around 60.000 barrels of oil equivalents. Gas is exported via a subsea pipeline to consumers onshore. In 1st quarter 2012, the FPSO had 100% uptime.

The company is spearheading two decades of FPSO experience within Aker. Our business is to own, charter out and operate FPSOs equipped for offshore oil and gas production. In 2008 the Company completed the conversion of Dhirubhai 1 in record time. She is operating in 1200m water depth offshore the East Coast of India for Reliance Industries Ltd. - with a market leading uptime.
