Aker SMART concept

Aker Smart FPSOs are designed to provide the field operators with a flexible and cost effective production facility, which can be rapidly deployed to accelerate the development of first oil. The solution provides oil companies with added flexibility and versatility, as the FPSO can be prepared for installation of additionally required field specific equipment. Their robust suite of capabilities can meet a better part of the requirements set for eligible FPSO projects located in the target deployment areas of West Africa, Southeast Asia, India, South America and the Gulf of Mexico. The Aker Smart FPSO can be delivered with either a spread mooring system or a turret mooring system that allows the FPSO to weathervane.
